Everybody who trys to understnad the end times trys to see what could bring about the mark of the beast. You won't be able to buy or sell anything without this mark, that will mark you as not a follower of Christ but the enemy.Read this link in the eyes of a possible reason for the world will be given the mark.
I don't know what will truely bring out the mark of the beast. I am sure as of now it will be due to health care that the mark will be given to everyone but this seems to be a valid idea to think about. The only other suggestion would be for citizenship. keep track the potential terrorist.
